Sharing My Recent Poetry | Monochrome

Here is another poem I have written and I would like to share it with you all to inspire young writers out there. This is a short (and incomplete!) one, and it would be amazing if you can comment to this post and add on by using your own style of poetry.

My monochrome world,

Just shades of black and white.

Like a mix of yin and yang,

Only shown at night.

Yet i still see invisible colors,

Dancing around me.

It almost makes me happy,

Almost teasing me in a way.

What would a color look like?

Other than the only colors,

Of the pieces collecting dust,

On my grandfather’s chessboard.
